Maybe I try to hard
Maybe I’ll go real far
Maybe I’ll never make it
Maybe it doesn’t matter anyways
Asks his dad for a new car
but it wont last he can’t pay for it
When he laughs real hard
he shakes and stumbles from the pills he’s taken
Watch TV he dreams cause he really believes that he’s goin somewhere yeah he’s goin somewhere someday
Goes to school just about everyday yeah he tries but he’s a bit too shy to ever ask the right question so he just wonders why
When he looks in the mirror he thinks
he’s going to grow and change into
the person that he believes he needs to be

Here we are in this world we make of it
He tried real hard to get this far
But it’s not quite how he imagined it
So he commutes to his local bar
to ponder truth or dare
Is it me? Is it what I believe? Is it what I need?

Raised his hand for the attention
but the people they just stopped looked and stared
I guess they all failed to mention
there’s not a person here that cares
Then he screams in disgust at everything
I want to bleed! I want leave!
